I will be here.....

Here i share with you all One of my favorite poems by Steven Curtis Chapman...

Tomorrow morning if u wake up and the sun doesn't appear i'll be here....
If in the dark you lose sight of love, hold my hand and have no fear, for i'll be here..
I'll be here when you feel like being quiet,
When you need to speak your mind, I'll listen
And i'll be here when the laughter turns to crying,
Through the winning,losing and trying
Will be together because, I'll be here....

Tomorrow morning if u wake up and the future is unclear,I'll be here..
Sure as seasons are made for change,Our life times are made for years and I'll be here...
I'll be here and you can cry on my shoulder, when the mirror tell us we are older, I'll hold you....
And I'll be here to watch you grow in beauty and tell you all the things you are to me..I'll be here..

I'll be true to the promise I've made to you and to the one who gave you to me...
I will be here.....

A new begining....

Dear friends, as yet another beautiful year melts into the dusty pages of history and we look down on the road towards the new horizon, we see faces to remember forever, days of ecstasy, sudden fortune, situations which literally shook us to the core, loved ones who stood by our side during times of difficulties, wonderful moments which brought a silent smile on our faces, moments that we will alwyas cherish, loved ones who walked out of our lives for some reason, times which made our hearts sink and weep, moments of pride, joy of celebration, pain from disappointment, what all and what not….. at this moment, I just remembered a beautiful write up from my collection and felt like sharing it with you all.. So here I present it ,wishing you all a very prosperous new year….…..

“There are two days in every week we shouldn’t worry about, two days that should be kept free from fear and apprehension. One is yesterday, with its mistakes and cares, its faults and blunders, its aches and pains, yesterday has passed forever beyond our control. All the money in the world can’t bring back yesterday. We can’t undo a single act we performed. Nor can we erase a single world we have said –Yesterday is gone. The other day we should not worry about is tomorrow. Tomorrow is beyond our control. Tomorrow’s sun will rise either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds but it will rise. And until it does, we have no stake in tomorrow, for it is yet unborn. This leaves only one day-Today. Any person can fight the battles of just one day. It is only when we add the burdens of yesterday and tomorrow that drives people mad-it is the remorse of bitterness for something that happened yesterday and the dread of what tomorrow may bring. Life is too short to mourn over the past, look ahead, live today, live every moment...."

A Daughter’s Love…..

Friends,

Here i present a beautiful poem from my collections...
I dn't know about the poet.. bt its very touching...
I'm sure u'll like it too....

Her hair was up in a ponytail
Her favorite dress tied with a bow
Today was fathers’ day at school
And she couldn’t wait to go…

But her mummy tried to tell her
That she probably should stay home
Why the kids might not understand
If she went to school alone…

But she was not afraid
She knew just what to say
What to tell her classmates
Why her daddy wasn’t there today…

The girl went to school
Eager to tell them all,
About a Dad she rarely sees
And who only calls…

One by one the teacher called
A student from the class
To introduce their daddy
As seconds slowly passed…

At last the teacher called her name
Every child turned to stare
Each of them was searching
For the man who wasn’t there…

“Where is her Daddy?”
She heard a boy call out
“She probably doesn’t have one”
Another dared to shout…

And from somewhere near the back
She heard a daddy say,
“Looks like another deadbeat dad,
Too busy to waste his day…”

With her hands behind her back
Slowly she began to speak
And from the mouth of a child
Came words incredibly unique…
“My daddy couldn’t be here
Because he is away.
But I know he wishes he could be,
Since it is such a special day…

Because my daddy is always with me
Even though we are apart,
I know because he told me
He will forever be in my heart…”

With that her little hand reached up
And lay across her chest.
Feeling her own heartbeat
Beneath her own favorite dress…

“I love my Daddy very much
He is my shining star,
He brings a smile to many lives
Working hard for a good cause…”

And from somewhere in the crowd
Her mother stood in tears,
Proudly watching her daughter
Who was wise beyond her ears…..
